The last weekend I was in Raleigh a few of us threw a baby shower for our friend Anna who is having a little girl (Rachel) in just a few short months. It was so fun to get most of the girls back together to celebrate the next little one coming into the world!

The day that the retreat ended a few of us ended up staying at the beach for a little extra R&R and then we went into Wilmington for dinner that evening.

Caswell Beach - Memorial Day 2008

This last weekend I went to Oak Island for my 6th annual Fort Caswell retreat with PBC!  We had fantastic weather almost the whole trip and I was able to get nice and burnt not just once, but two times (one day on my shoulders and one day on my legs)!  This was the first time in 5 years that I went merely as a guest and not on leadership.  It was a welcome change but I admittedly missed the hustle and bustle of being on council.  Overall it was a fantastic refreshing trip!

On a short visit to NC Susannah and I went to Erik and Heather's to meet baby Mady and play with Anna.  Here are a few pictures from the visit.
